Kris is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, and the owner of the Parkhill Animal Hospital. While he enjoys many areas of practice, Kris is particularly passionate about surgery, anesthesia and pain management. He is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and is a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM). His areas of research have included zoo animals, reproduction and stress. At home, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. They miss Carmen, their miniature schnauzer, greatly.

Reception and Animal Care
Karen has been a part of the front desk staff at PAH since 2006. Karen lives in Peterborough with her husband and her two empty nest dogs, Charlie and Riggins, the flat-coated retrievers. They have 2 grown children and 4 spoiled grand dogs. In her free time Karen enjoys being outdoors where she can be found dog training of all kinds (especially hunt and retriever training), hiking, geocaching, hunting and fishing, kayaking, snow shoeing, cross country ski-ing and taking photos of all the things (OK mostly the dogs!) Family time at the cottage includes puzzles, board games and long beach walks with the boys.
Carolyn has been a member of the Parkhill Animal Hospital team since 1989. She enjoys working with our clients and their pets. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and their boxer “Dani” at their off grid cabin.

Veterinary Technicians
Amanda completed a Bachelor’s of Science at the University of Guelph in 2013. Following that she trained as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at Seneca College. Amanda has worked in Peterborough and surrounding areas since graduating. Amanda lives locally with her husband, young daughter, dog and cat.
